Brief history: The devotion to the sacred heart of Jesus was established throughout the world through the order of visitation St. Margaret Mary Alacoque who was chosen by God himself on June 16th 1675 during the Octave of corpus Christi convent at Paray-le monial in France, he appeared to her exposing his sacred heart. He commissioned Margaret Mary to spread the devotion to his sacred heart, to encourage the faithful to receive holy communion in reparation for the offences and indifference of men and to offer themselves in consecration to his sacred heart. The enthronement of alters in families was made possible by Father Mateo in August 24, 1907.
In Nigeria, the sacred heart of Jesus and immaculate heart of Mary was founded on 1st January 1967 by Brother Dominick K. Albatan. It started at Regina Mundi Catholic church, Mushin Lagos with the enthronement of the sacred heart in the homes of eight foundation members.
AIMSANDOBJECTIVES
O. To propagate the social region of the sacred heart of Jesus by helping the faithful to live a life of prayer and love for the sacred heart of Jesus and immaculate heart of Mary and to achieve Christian perfection.
P. To encourage and promote perpetual adoration and enthronement of the sacred heart in the homes of the members so that they may repay his great love with gratitude.
Q. To give moral and financial support to the training of seminarians, the league of tarcisians, the youth wing and the Benjamin(infants).

First Sunday of every month after 8:30am mass.
Thanksgiving
First Sunday of every month at the 8:30 am mass.
Devotion
4. Every Thursday by 5:00pm and after mid day mass.
5. First Friday devotion by 5:00pm and after mid day mass.
6. First Saturday devotion after 7:00am mass every first Saturday.
Deanery meeting
Second Saturday of every month, once in a month in each deanery center.
